- Troy Engineered Components & Assemblies (TECA) was incorporated in January 2005 in Troy, Ohio to manufacture spare tire hoists for pick-up trucks, SUV’s, minivans, and RV mobile homes as well as other mechanical components and cable assemblies.

- Core TECA management and production employees are former essential employees of Deuer Manufacturing, long recognized for its excellence in the marketplace as the originator of the cable operated spare tire hoist.

- Core TECA employees have previous experience as Tier One automotive suppliers to companies such as Toyota, Lexus, General Motors, Daimler Chrysler, the RV Motor Home industry, and SsangYong Motors in South Korea. This team of former Deuer employees were responsible for the design, manufacture, quality assurance and on-time shipment of literally millions of spare tire hoists over the years.

- TECA was formed as a strategic alliance with Ishmael Precision Tool Corporation and is housed in a new 16,000 square foot addition to their facility. IPTC has expertise in tool design & build, metal stamping, laser cutting, and plastic molding.
